The health and safety of our June Camp community is our primary concern. All participants will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, including at least one booster, when they register or in advance of camp, unless this was provided with their registration at June Camp in 2022. The policy has now been updated to include new decisions about testing and masking. (If you agreed to the previous version of the policy when you registered, and have any reservations about that, please contact the committee at junecampifd@gmail.com.)
When you fill out your registration for camp (on a Google Form), you will need to mark that you agree to our policy statement and waiver, below. This agreement on the Google Form will serve as your signature. You will then need to transmit your proof of vaccination. This should be done before you arrive at camp by:
Emailing a scan or photo of your vaccination card (we will not keep this information, just note that it was supplied), or
Connecting with our registrar, Steve Salemson, by Facebook Messenger video, or with director, Mady Newfield, by Zoom or WhatsApp video and physically showing your proof of vaccination to us, or
Sending us a photocopy of your vaccination card by U.S. mail
In the event that you have to cancel your registration because of any medical reason, we will be willing to offer a full refund minus any Paypal fees.

June Camp 2023 Health Risk and Liability Agreement
Our goal is to keep our community as safe as possible. June Camp requires that participants in our in-person event be fully vaccinated, as defined by the CDC, with all required COVID-19 vaccinations and at least one booster. Proof of vaccination must be provided in advance of arrival at camp.
In order to participate in the dance weekend, I acknowledge, understand, and agree with the following points:
I acknowledge that participating in June Camp 2023 subjects me to the risk of physical illness or injury (minimal, serious, or catastrophic) and that I am assuming this risk, and will not hold the event organizers or venue responsible or liable for any illness or injury I incur.
In particular with respect to COVID-19, I acknowledge that COVID-19 and its variants are highly infectious viruses that can result in serious illness and possibly death. I acknowledge that it is spread through person-to-person contact, primarily through the air, and that the risk of the virus is greater indoors than outdoors. I accept the risk of contracting COVID-19 through participation, and voluntarily assume that risk.
I agree to stay home and not attend if I feel sick, or have tested positive for COVID-19 within the previous 7 days. See the CDC website for the information on symptoms. During camp, anyone exhibiting COVID symptoms will be isolated, tested, and if positive, will be excluded from any additional camp activities.
I agree to test with a rapid antigen test just before leaving for camp, and will not come if that test is positive.
The wearing of well-fitting, multi-layer masks (e.g. N95 type) during indoor activities except when actively eating and drinking is strongly encouraged, but not required. However we ask you to agree to the following:
I agree to wear a mask while singing
I agree to wear a mask if requested to because of apparent symptoms
In the week prior to coming to June Camp, I will mask when in the proximity of others, particularly in crowds, airports, airplanes, and on public transportation.
During camp, I will be considerate and put on a mask when in close proximity to those who are masked, and who request it. (We have immuno-compromised and disabled dancers in our group whom we want to take care of.)
I agree to comply with additional measures aimed at reducing the risk of transmission of the virus, measures which may need to be adopted by June Camp, the camp venues, or any controlling governmental entity at any time.
I agree to notify the June Camp committee at junecampifd@gmail.com immediately if I test positive for COVID-19 during or for a week after camp, so other participants who may have been exposed can be informed.
I attest that I am fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 and I am providing a valid proof of vaccination. Photocopy and digital copies are acceptable proof. (If you attended June Camp in 2022, we already have your vaccination status on file, so you do not need to submit it again unless there is new information you wish to share.)
