Evening Parties

Follow these instructions:

• Go to the DanceVotes site.

• Create a username and password.  This just involves entering your name, email address, and a password. None of this information will be shared with anyone. If you've used the voting system before for June Camp, Stockton, or other events, you probably already have a username and password.  

• Log into the Voting website. 

• Cast your votes by simply clicking on the button in the Vote column.  If you want to cancel your vote, click the button again and your vote will be canceled. 

• If you want to add a dance that isn’t in the list, you can scroll to the very bottom of the page and type a dance name into the bottom. Don’t forget to vote for the dance that you added.

• The list can be sorted, based on any of the columns, by clicking the title at the top of the column.  If you are looking for a particular dance you can sort alphabetically by Name, Source, or Country, or if you want to see which dances have already received votes, you can sort by Votes. 

• Vote for as many dances as you want. The more dances you vote for, the more helpful the voting results will be in preparing playlists for the June Camp parties.

• You can return to this site as many times as you want to see votes and vote for more dances.

• Voting will close on June 1.

There is a video tutorial on how to use the DanceVotes system. (It was prepared for Stockton Folk Dance Camp and refers to that, instead of June Camp.)

We think this is a fun and efficient way to plan our parties and are very grateful to Dale Adamson for setting up this ingenious system for us. However, if you can’t make it work for you, you can still email your requests to us at junecampifd@gmail.com and we will make sure they get counted!
